Our Story

Dolce Rhode was founded by sisters Erica and Christa, born and raised in Rhode Island and brought up in an Italian family where gatherings always meant great food, lots of laughter, and, of course, dessert.

Christa has spent years in the wedding industry as a photographer, capturing some of life’s most joyful celebrations. After witnessing countless beautiful weddings, she knew how much couples love adding unique and memorable touches to their special day.

Erica, a real estate attorney by day and entrepreneur by heart, has always had a passion for creating new ideas and bringing them to life. With a lifelong love of ice cream and gelato, she began imagining a business that could bring a fun and elegant gelato experience to the community, weddings, and other events across New England. Erica brought the idea to Christa, and they put their heads together to create Dolce Rhode.

Now, the sisters are bringing their idea to weddings and events across Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and Connecticut.
